This painting is really close to my heart because thanks to it I learnt so much.
I combined my big interests - space, night and phenomenon named Stonehenge. Unfortunately I never visited this place so at least I painted it.
The first step was to paint a nightsky. It wasn't really hard because it was just a black colour.
The next step was the smoke. I'm not sure if I managed the natural flow of the smoke but hey - it was my first attempt and I think it didn't go that bad. It had to look like something between smoke and a mist that leads to space. I don't know if it makes sense but that was my intention. Anyway this step took me sooo much time but I didn't mind because I really enjoyed it. Weird, right? When I finished the smoke, I painted blue and magenta over it. As you can see, they're see-through.
The third step were silhouette of the Stonehenge. Somebody would says that silhouettes are cheating, but I don't think so. It has it's own magic.
Then I had to paint rocks. Again just a silhouettes, because they are of front of the Stohenge, hence they are in it's shadow.
If you look at it just like that, you could say it wasn't so hard after all. But that's not tha case. Maybe it's not one of my most difficult paintings, but it isn't also one of my easiest ones. Every paiting take some time and a piece of an artist.
That's me! Yay!

And here's the final result:
