The Making of "Chilling Peacock"

Honestly this was my first big project. This "little" bird was originally meant for Zoo Praha as he had to feed local animals.

I started on a sunny day and what seemed like a funny weekend at first, ended in three crucial weeks. I had to paint after work, long time after sunsets and with a aching back and sore knuckles.

I'm not used to more detailed work yet and I wanted to finish this painting so quickly that I almost ruined it. :( I had to remember that I should be happy and relaxed otherwise I shouldn't paint.

Well at least I learnt that I should learn some patience. ;-P
